Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

One hardware wallet (or cold wallet) is a physical device designed to securely store 100% secures private keys of your cryptocurrencies. Unlike mobile apps or exchanges (such as Binance or Coinbase), a hardware wallet never connects directly to the internet, which makes it immune to computer hacks and viruses.

To put it simply:

1. Storage: Your cryptocurrencies aren't «inside» the device; they're on the blockchain. What the device stores is the «key» (private key) used to authorize transactions.

2. The signature: When you want to send cryptocurrency, you connect the device to your computer or phone. The device «signs» the transaction internally and in isolation, and only sends the authorization over the internet.

3. The confirmation: Nothing leaves your wallet unless you physically press a button on the device.

No, your funds are safe. When you set up your hardware wallet for the first time, the device will provide you with a list of 12 or 24 words (called Recovery Seed o Seed Phrase). If you lose it, it gets stolen, or the device breaks, all you have to do is buy any other compatible device and enter those words to regain full control of your cryptocurrencies.

Absolutely NOT. In our catalog, we only direct you to official stores and authorized dealers. Buying a used device or from unofficial platforms carries the risk that it may have been tampered with at the factory to steal your funds. Always buy new, factory-sealed devices.
